Flood Mazda

The extensive renovation and addition effort for Flood Mazda required BKA to meet two major goals. To bring the low lying, outdated facility up to the current Mazda Image Program while also establishing a greater street presence for the brand. BKA incorporated the Mazda “Jewel Box” feature, an interior vehicle lift that provides a showcase element that is unique to Mazda, to create additional height to the structure allowing greater visibility from the main road. In order to achieve the addition, the existing facade and structural system of the building were completely removed to feature the Mazda Image Transparent Showroom and Sales Area. The Parts Area was relocated and a second addition was added to expand the Service Department and construct a new Full Service Reception Drive-in, Service Advisors Station and Customer Lounge.
