The Strathmore Residences
This project is the perfect example of smart growth. As the second major downtown Brockton multifamily housing rehabilitation effort, the Strathmore development capitalized on the success of the neighboring SoCo Lofts project and its proximity to mass transit stations. The first hurdle for BKA was to guide the project through building code compliance. With eight stories of timber frame construction, the structure had to be qualified for high rise construction. Our technical expertise helped paved the way through the approval process of 72 loft-style units, housing stock so desperately needed for the city’s renewal.
