BKA Architects worked with Onyx Partners LTD to
provide design, documentation, and construction
administration services for three multi-tenant
retail buildings and one pad restaurant building at
Springfield Crossing Shopping Center. The buildings
include a four-tenant retail building occupied by
Skechers, Carter’s, PetSmart, and La-Z-Boy; a three-
tenant building with Chase Bank and two future
tenant spaces; a retail building planned for CAVA and
Nothing Bundt Cakes; and a Chipotle pad restaurant.
Each building was designed to meet jurisdictional
requirements while reinforcing the plaza’s retail
identity through clean, simple, color coordinated
façade materials, sconce lighting, and open storefront
glazing.
